The WICS Summer Scientific Meeting will be returning on the 18th and 19th of June 2026 to St Pierre Hotel in Chepstow .

Furthermore, we’re delighted to offer the opportunity to apply for a🔗 bursary 🔗to support nursing, therapies, pharmacy and psychology colleagues working in critical care in Wales to attend the 2026 Summer Scientific Meeting. The aim of the bursary is to enhance knowledge, improve patient care and outcomes.
Bursary Terms and Conditions:
Applicants will purchase attendance at the conference, successful applicants will be refunded.
Applications must be received by WICS by the advertised date of 29th May 2026.
Applicants must have been a nurse/ ACCP/ AHP/ Pharmacist or Clinical Psychologist member of WICS for a minimum of 1 year prior to application and must remain a member of WICS for at least 1 year after receiving the bursary.
Only one bursary may be normally awarded to an individual, and subsequent applications to WICS will only be considered if the maximum bursary/ research awards for that year have not been reached.
Awardees will be asked to kindly provide a written/ recorded testimonial promoting their experience and learning at the Summer Scientific Meeting, which the Society may use to promote future engagement.
